hard to tell size from add, yes "4 inch" top lip. But flairs so fast I only counted 1/3 cup. Bottom is 2 inch or less (I forget exact). Volumn statement would have helped pre-purchase.
This is a fine piece of equipment. Has a non-stick type cover/lining (not the teflone tho which is a good thing) all over. I believe its steel/iron.
